Our verdict
GOG suits players who want to own their games outright. Everything is DRM-free and downloadable as a plain installer, and its work restoring old games is unmatched. New releases arrive less often than on bigger stores.
What we like
- Every game is DRM-free and downloadable as an installer
- Preservation programme for older titles
- Optional GOG Galaxy client
- 30-day refund policy
Keep in mind
- Fewer brand-new releases
- Smaller multiplayer community
Who it's for
Best for: drm-free, retro classics. Open the official site to check current prices, age requirements and system requirements before you sign up.
