Our verdict
Epic is the best way to build a PC library for free: a game to claim every week adds up fast. The store itself is simpler than Steam, with fewer community tools, but prices and sales are competitive and its exclusives are worth having.
What we like
- A free game to claim every week
- Home of Fortnite, Rocket League and Fall Guys
- Generous developer revenue share
- Regular mega sales with coupons
Keep in mind
- Fewer community features than Steam
- Smaller catalogue
Who it's for
Best for: weekly free games. Open the official site to check current prices, age requirements and system requirements before you sign up.
